ANERI GEWURZTRAMINER – ALTO ADIGE – LEDA – DOC

Gewurztraminer is one of the oldest vines in the world and it seems that its origins are from the Alto Adige region. It is harvested in a small area between Egna and Montagna, in the Bassa Altesina devoted area. Clay ground with calcareous gravel and sunny slopes suit at their best for the typical characteristics of this great white wine. Harvest time is when grapes reach the right maturation, for an intense aroma and a rich and harmonious taste. Maceration, soft pressing, controlled temperature fermentation and maturation in steel vats for at least six months and the contact with fine yeasts, make these prestigious grapes become an elegant and stylish wine.
Aneri’s family Leda selection stands out thanks to its intense aromas and outstanding freshness due to its composition: Riesling, Sauvignon and another grape which the family wish to keep secret. A small quantity of this special grape contributes to express at his best this straw-color wine, with scents of rose petals, cinnamon, and tropical fruits. The longevity of this product witness the quality of these grapes and the perfect vinification process.
